Excellent post! I'm really stoked about this blog! I've long since been a fan of Indian music, & although I've known about the more mainstream artists like Ravi Shankar, V.M. Bhatt, & Debashish Bhattacharya, I've longed to learn about other artists from the Indian classical pantheon. There aren't many resources (that I'm aware of), available to learn about this music. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it seems like unless you're from this country or know someone that is, then it's difficult to break into. So I'm very happy to see that you have original LP's that you can share! Not only can I collect the music, but I can actually learn something in the process. On another note... although his music is more "contemporary", I'm hoping you might post some music from Indias guitar wizard "Prasanna". I believe that some of his material is out of print. Also I echo the sentiments of Ryan who asked for bitrates on the LP's. Thank you so much for your time & effort, I greatly appreciate it!
Wish you a nice sailing asterisk, found the link at home- all the best.
