perhaps my most favorite sarod player...have been fortunate to see/ hear him perform here a couple of times...thanks for sharing this recording-and the others as well-many unseen treasures...are these postings all generally unavailable, or just out-of-the-ordinary?
i think most indian classical music recordings are kind of hard to find in general. i have gotten mine over collecting for many years and from a small online community that is deeply interested in indian classical music.
http://www.shrimatis.com/ is a good place to start though in the USA.
Ah! I was so happy at first to see this record available at this blog. Buddhadev Dasgupta records are so hard to find on store. The happiness didn't last long though as the files are not really available. I noticed this problem with a number of beautiful collection on this blog. Files uploaded on Megaupload are permanently not available, and some of the files uploaded on Mediafire are not available as well. Can you please re-upload these files? Wonderful to see that somebody has taken so much initiative in making these masterpieces available. Thanks a lot. Really appreciate!
