once again, a fabulous posting...krishnamurti sridhar is, along with buddhadev dasgupta, among my favorite sarod players, and this recording is one of his best...thank you for sharing your remarkable sensibility in your postings...
Sridharji is a master and this is one of my favorite recordings of his as well... I'm lucky to have an original copy of this out-of-print release. His tone is so warm and rich... second only perhaps to Ali Akbar Khansahib's. Sridharji's Dagarvani dhrupad influence gives his playing so much meditative depth as well. Try to post his "Nadanjali" recording of Raag Malkauns if you have it! Many thanks for this blog!
